Founded in 1971 by Roland Hammargren, Rowico is a family owned furniture business with international acclaim.

With a heritage spanning nearly 50 years our design style has become a firm household favourite through retailers across the globe.

Today, at their headquarters in Sweden’s beautiful west coast city of Halmstad, Roland’s grandchildren Fredrik and Jessica Hammargren, the third generation of the family, play an active role in the company’s operations.

Unique design is the fundamental core of the Rowico ethos. Their portfolio contains free-standing furniture in Scandinavian, minimalistic style. Scandinavian furniture in a light finish has quickly reached worldwide appeal. Identifying the popularity of this traditional finish and the subsequent consumer buying behaviour towards it, they are proud to have developed their own unique Scandinavian collections.

Implementing environmentally positive practices is one of Rowico’s main focuses. Working towards supporting well managed forestry around the world is important, so important in fact, that during the fall of 2017 an application for audit to become an FSC accredited business was passed allowing them to trade in support of the Stewardship Council.
